Sterling Event Group is proud to support The Power of Events – North West Rollout of the Schools Engagement Programme as official regional sponsors. Through this initiative, our Sterling Event Group team are enrolling as ambassadors and visiting schools to deliver talks and presentations that highlight the wide range of careers available within the UK Events Industry.

The programme enables young people aged 11-18 to learn about the UK Events Industry and explore the breadth of roles available to them from event production to entertainment technology, logistics and delivery to live events ops. Our Sterling team ambassadors will share their valuable experiences and insights, helping local young people understand what working in events is really like. The programme aims to reach tens of thousands of young people in the northwest, sparking curiosity and interest in our dynamic, creative sector.

The events industry thrives on diverse talent. From audio-visual specialists to stage managers, lighting designers to logistics coordinators, the roles are wide-ranging and constantly evolving. This programme helps young people see the exciting opportunities available in our sector for them to get involved.
