At Sterling, we believe in empowering the next generation of live event professionals. That’s why we were proud to partner once again with GigCraft Academy at BawmFest 2025, delivering hands-on industry experience workshops and showcasing the very latest in professional audio technology.
This year, we equipped the festival’s main stage with a full @dbaudiotechnik_gmbh Y Series ground-stacked PA system, known for its exceptional clarity and flexibility in live sound applications. Complementing this, we deployed our brand new @martinaudio Blackline XP12 as stage monitors, ensuring crystal-clear monitoring for performers on stage.
To elevate the stage experience, our team also installed a dynamic @chauvet_pro stage lighting package, delivering impactful lighting design that added depth to every performance.
In addition to the main PA and lighting, we had the unique opportunity to demo a full microphone kit from @audiotechnicaemea. This included standout models like the AE2500 kick drum microphone and the AT2010 vocal microphone, perfect for delivering clean and natural vocal audio in a live setting.
BawmFest 2025 wasn’t just about the equipment, it was about giving aspiring engineers, technicians, and production teams a true taste of the live events industry. Through our partnership with GigCraft Academy, we helped deliver hands-on workshops and real-world training designed to build confidence and practical skills.
These workshops offered participants direct access to industry-leading professional audio equipment, as well as insights into sound design, stage management, and live event production. All skills that are critical to success in our industry.
At Sterling, we know that great live events start with great people and great equipment. We’re proud to play our part in nurturing new talent by providing access to state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment and real-world experience at festivals like BawmFest.
We can’t wait to see what the next generation of live event professionals will achieve!
