Brief
Partnering with Kate Park Events, we were entrusted with the production for a truly special wedding at the iconic Claridge’s in Mayfair. With its elegant Art Deco interiors and five-star luxury, we knew our approach needed to complement the venue’s timeless beauty without overpowering it. Our goal was to deliver a slick production that elevated every moment of the celebration.
Solution
Led by one of our highly experienced project managers, we designed and delivered a bespoke production tailored to the occasion.
The Ceremony
To create a breathtaking focal point, we installed a sleek white stage to elevate the exquisite floral chuppah. Soft, wireless uplighting and gentle spotlights added warmth and intimacy to the space. A discreet audio system, featuring high-quality white speakers, ensured that every word spoken and note played resonated beautifully throughout the ceremony. As soon as the ceremony concluded, guests transitioned to the drinks reception in the French Salon and Drawing Room while our team swiftly removed the production setup swiftly and efficiently.
The Reception & Dinner Dance
The ballroom was pre-set and ready to welcome guests for an unforgettable evening of dining and dancing. Given the need for maximum floor space, we designed an efficient production layout that minimized physical impact while delivering maximum impact. Most of the lighting and audio system was suspended overhead, using white-bodied fixtures and speakers. The rigging was seamlessly covered in white to blend effortlessly with the decor.
Positioned directly opposite the main entrance, we built a band stage complemented by a high-gloss white dance floor. A silver mirror border framed the dance floor, with matching mirrored accents on the stage facia, adding a touch of glamour.
A fully controllable atmospheric lighting system brought the room to life, featuring uplighting, warm white table pin-spotting, moving washes, beams, and effects. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with soft, neutral tones enhanced by candlelight, setting a romantic and intimate mood. As the night unfolded, the lighting evolved—introducing vibrant colors and dynamic beams to energize the space, elevate the live stage show, and create the ultimate party atmosphere.
To ensure crystal-clear speeches and a flawless sound experience, we installed a high-end audio system from d&b audiotechnik, renowned for its premium quality. All additional audio equipment was carefully selected to meet the band’s technical requirements, ensuring every musical moment sounded spectacular.
