Partnering with Jenna Keller Events, we were given the exciting challenge of transforming the Cellars at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse into a one-of-a-kind event space for Jay’s Bar Mitzvah. The goal was to create a high-energy, immersive environment that seamlessly blended industrial charm with cutting-edge production.
Solution
The raw, industrial aesthetic of Victoria Warehouse provided the perfect canvas for a dramatic lighting design. Vibrant washes and bold beam lights set the mood, while pixel tubes and the dynamic Color Strike Strobe/Wash/Pixel effects lights created immersive, ever-changing visuals. A high-resolution LED screen served as the focal point, displaying Jay’s custom branding alongside striking animated graphics programmed in sync with the light show.
Jay’s brand identity was woven throughout the venue in creative and impactful ways. A large-scale exterior projection illuminated the warehouse façade, setting the tone for the event before guests even stepped inside. A bespoke neon sign—designed as both an event feature and a keepsake for Jay—added a personal touch, while a 3D logo mounted on the DJ booth reinforced the theme.
To maximize interaction and engagement, we designed a stage layout that worked with the venue’s unique architecture. Staging was built around the existing pillars, with four additional podiums extending into the audience, bringing the entertainment closer to the guests. At the center of the space, a four-sided cocktail bar wrapped around the main pillar, enhanced by a custom-built back bar with integrated lighting, crafted by our team.
For crystal-clear sound and an immersive audio experience, we implemented a distributed speaker system throughout the venue, ensuring even coverage and impactful acoustics. The DJ setup was equipped with industry-leading Pioneer gear, providing the perfect platform for an unforgettable music experience.
A bold, immersive, and meticulously executed production transformed Victoria Warehouse into an electrifying party space. The combination of striking visuals, seamless branding, and a high-energy atmosphere ensured Jay’s Bar Mitzvah was a night to remember.
