Brief
Working on behalf of The Event Co, Sterling was commissioned to deliver full technical production support for a high-profile event celebrating the launch of Cathay Pacific’s new direct route between Manchester and Hong Kong. The occasion was held in the prestigious and historic Manchester Town Hall, a setting that provided a stunning backdrop befitting such a significant milestone. The event welcomed approximately 150 distinguished guests, including VIPs, dignitaries, and influential figures from the business community, all gathered to commemorate the airline’s latest expansion. Sterling’s team ensured seamless technical execution throughout, encompassing lighting, audio, and visual production elements that highlighted both the grandeur of the venue and the significance of the occasion.

Sterling provided a technical production solution included state-of-the-art lighting design to accentuate the venue’s historic features, crystal-clear audio for speeches and presentations, and high-quality visual displays to enhance engagement throughout the evening. For the highlight catwalk segment, the team implemented precision lighting and staging to ensure each iconic Cathay Pacific uniform was showcased to its fullest effect, creating a seamless blend of heritage, style, and modern technical execution.
