Brief
Collaborating with leading event management company Kate Park Events, we were tasked with delivering a spectacular production to celebrate Oliver’s Bar Mitzvah. The vision was clear: a high-energy, immersive experience that would captivate guests from the moment they arrived. The setup needed to accommodate a DJ and live musicians, include raised seating for the kids near the dance floor, and feature a large screen to showcase a live video feed of Oliver’s grand entrance.
Solution
Leveraging our in-depth knowledge of the venue, we created precise CAD plans to ensure the optimal use of space, balancing functionality with striking visual impact.
At the heart of the production was a dynamic stage featuring a sleek, curved DJ booth and centrally positioned steps, highlighted with color-changing LED tape lighting. To provide the younger guests with prime views of the action, we designed and installed two split-level risers as raised seating banks, seamlessly matching the main stage’s aesthetic.
For a high-impact visual backdrop, we installed a 7m x 2.5m LED screen. This versatile display showcased Oliver’s custom branding, vibrant animated graphics synchronized with the lighting design, and a live video feed. Using a high-definition wireless camera, we captured Oliver’s arrival in true celebrity style, tracking his entrance from the venue doors all the way into the party.
Lighting played a crucial role in setting the mood and creating an electric atmosphere. A bold and immersive design was crafted to rival that of a top-tier nightclub. Laser beam bars projected from above the screen, while two banks of six beam-wash lights framed the stage. High-impact beams effects lights lined the front of the stage, while animated washes and effects extended throughout the entire space. Dimmable pin-spot lighting accentuated the occasional tables, adding a touch of sophistication.
To elevate the central cocktail bar as a focal point, we installed an eye-catching display of LED pixel tubes suspended at varying heights, creating a dynamic and mesmerizing visual feature.
