Brief

For the third consecutive year,  Sterling Event Group was delighted to deliver full staging and technical production for  Organsfest, an exclusive private festival set within stunning private grounds in the Cheshire countryside.

With each year’s event needing to feel fresh and elevated from the last, our team embraced the challenge of creating a new look and atmosphere for an impressive lineup that included UB40, Tony Hadley, Holly Ellison, Alive and Kicking, and Gravity Live.

Solution

With the main stage positioned on sloping ground (a 1.5m variance), our rigging team began by constructing a perfectly level stage deck, complete with an arc roof truss structure, PA wings, and cow sheds for additional production space. Branded backdrops and wing panels completed the professional stage aesthetic.

We deployed a full d&b audiotechnik sound system, including line array hangs, front fills, and sub-bass speakers to deliver warm, powerful sound across the entire site. Each artist’s technical rider was met in full, featuring multiple FOH and monitor consoles, an extensive microphone and monitor package, and Pioneer DJ equipment.

Visually, our lighting design transformed the stage and surrounding grounds. A vibrant combination of  wash and spot lighting, Blaze effects, and over 200 architectural fixtures illuminated trees, pathways, and structures, enhancing the festival’s ambience from day to night.

A clear roof marquee hosted the cocktail bar, featuring suspended droplet chandeliers and mirror balls, with crisp white-bodied lighting fixtures and dynamic moving lights around a curved gloss white Sterling DJ booth. The space seamlessly shifted from relaxed daytime vibes to an immersive afterparty nightclub, complete with another integrated d&b audiotechnik sound system linked to the main stage.

Reliable power was delivered via synchronised generators with full distribution across production, bars, catering, and welfare areas, supplemented by  Instagrid battery packs to reach remote zones. Additional structures included a fairy-light draped umbrella tunnel and a welcoming feature archway.

Result

Organsfest once again delivered a world class experience, combining flawless production with stunning design at every touchpoint. From the rich, resonant sound of UB40’s live set to the dynamic lighting displays across the grounds, the event was a true feast for the senses perfectly blending technical excellence with creative flair.

The event looked incredible and everything ran so smoothly with all of the performers. Huge thank you to the whole team who worked so hard throughout the week.
