Brief
The pop-up party headed to Victoria Warehouse following a number of shows elsewhere and the organisers required an AV makeover of the industrial setting to recreate they’re secret speakeasy-style with music and performance.
Solution
Sterling delivered a robust PA system for bands and DJs, alongside draping, rigging, and lighting to complete the client’s theme. A full ceiling drape with a 23m-wide pleated backdrop and silk drop curtains set the scene, while a bespoke stage with side stages provided flexibility. A d&b line array system ensured full audio coverage and met performer rider requirements. Intelligent lighting combined LED washes, R2 Profile Spotlights, Fresnels, Sunstrips, PicklePATTs, and moving heads to create dynamic effects, with secure rigging for aerial artists. A red-carpet entrance added a premium guest experience.

The full ceiling drape and 23m-wide backdrop created a striking visual frame, while the bespoke staging gave performers versatility and presence. The d&b line array system delivered powerful, clear sound across the room, ensuring both DJs and live bands were supported to professional rider standards. Intelligent lighting elevated every act, from aerial artists and acrobats to dancers, magicians, and circus performers, with dynamic washes, beams, and effects keeping the audience engaged throughout. The dramatic use of Sunstrips, PicklePATTs, and R2 Profile Spotlights added theatrical flair, while the red-carpet arrival enhanced the sense of occasion. Together, these elements created a seamless, high-energy event that impressed guests and performers alike, leaving a lasting impact.

- 23m wide backdrop – Main wall softy pleated back drop in opaque matt finish fabric with 6 drop curtain overlays in an imitation silk fabric to offer a high contrast finish to the rear curtain – Large tassel tie backs were then used on the drop curtains with the same colour and fabric as the main wall
