Brief
When Jenna Keller Events approached Sterling Event Group to help transform the Tenants’ Hall at Tatton Park, we knew it would be a truly special project. The goal? To completely reimagine the space—concealing the hall’s original features (including its distinctive collection of mounted animal heads) and creating a sleek, elegant environment that would serve as a perfect blank canvas for the wedding’s design.
Solution
Structural Design
One of the key challenges of this transformation was the limited rigging options within the hall. To overcome this, we engineered a fully freestanding structure, designed to support the draping, lighting, audio, and floral installations. Using electronic motors, the entire structure was lifted into place efficiently and safely, ensuring a seamless setup.
Elegant Draping & Stunning Floral Features
Once the structure was in place, we installed custom-designed draping. A flat white ceiling created a sleek, modern aesthetic, while softly pleated wall drapes added warmth and sophistication. To maintain the refined look, we carefully concealed the rigging within the drapery.
To further enhance the space, we provided rigging points for breathtaking floral displays and a grand crystal chandelier—the focal point above the white dance floor. A two-tier stage, finished in white, featured a beautifully illuminated semi-circular step, ensuring an elegant transition from the dance floor.
Lighting & Audio – Setting the Mood
Our bespoke lighting design was crafted to enhance the ambiance throughout the event. This included:
✔ Soft uplighting to add warmth to the space
✔ Pin spots to highlight dining tables
✔ Moving washes & gobo projections to create texture and depth
As the evening unfolded, the lighting evolved—elevating the band’s performance and adding energy to the celebration. Every lighting fixture was carefully selected in white, ensuring a seamless blend with the draped setting.
A Picture-Perfect Outdoor Ceremony
While we had a wet weather plan in place, the couple was lucky to enjoy a stunning outdoor ceremony overlooking the Italian Gardens. To complement this picturesque setting, we installed a white stage and a discreet audio system featuring white speakers—ensuring crystal-clear sound without disrupting the aesthetics.
This Tatton Park wedding was a beautiful example of how a space can be completely transformed with thoughtful design, innovative solutions, and expert execution. We were honoured to bring this vision to life!
