Sennheiser EK 2000 IEM Receiver (Aw+)
Sennheiser EK 2000 IEM in-ear monitor receiver utilises Adaptive Diversity Technology which employs the cable from connected earphones as a secondary antenna to reduce chance of dropout.
The bodypack receiver can be powered by optional Sennheiser BA 2015 battery pack, or two AA alkaline battery cells to give 4-6 hours operation. The battery/s are put in situ behind a locking door, which in turn is positioned below a display and navigation buttons. The display shows the battery life remaining, with three bars illustrating 100% remaining, two bars illustrating 70% remaining, and a single bar illustrating 30% remaining. A red LED flashes when the battery is low. The display also shows valuable information including frequency, channel, name, mute status, RF and AF levels. A further LED signifies RF frequency reception. The menu can be navigated via two buttons located on the front facing panel. A 3.5mm headphone output is associated with a rotary headphone volume controller. The rear facing side of the receiver has a removable metal belt clamp.
