Gentleman Jack Northern Ballet

Sterling were proud to support NorthernBallet’s production of Gentleman Jack at theiconic Leeds Grand Theatre. The productionrequired a high-performance audio systemcapable of delivering clear, immersive soundacross the theatre while maintainingconsistency and reliability throughout therun. With a world-class company performingin a historic venue, the system needed tointegrate seamlessly into the productionenvironment while ensuring audiencesexperienced every musical and narrativemoment with clarity and impact.

Solution

To meet the demands of the production, Sterling supplied a comprehensive d&b audiotechnik sound system designed for both power and precision. The setup included Y and T Series loudspeakers to deliver balanced coverage throughout the auditorium, supported by D80 and D40 amplifiers to provide the necessary performance and control. A DS10 Audio Network Bridge was alsodeployed to facilitate Dante to AESconversion, ensuring seamless systemintegration with the production’s wider audioinfrastructure. This configuration provided arobust, reliable networked audio solutioncapable of maintaining consistentperformance across every performance.

Result

The system delivered a clear and immersive audio experience that complemented the scale and emotion of Northern Ballet’s Gentleman Jack. Audiences at Leeds Grand Theatre were able to fully engage with the performance, benefiting from powerful yet detailed sound that carried throughout the venue.
